Anthony Bennett, SF/PF, UNLV

Why you want him: Bennett is a versatile scorer with great size who can score anywhere on the floor. Put him in the post, in the midrange, or beyond the arc, and he’s a threat. His potential to get even better is through the roof. Bennett has great athleticism and is explosive around the rim. In addition, he is a tenacious and physical rebounder.

Why you don’t want him: Although he has the ability to be aggressive, he doesn’t always use it, so his motor is in question. However, Bennett’s biggest issue is that he’s a tweener. At 6′ 7″, he could be a small forward, although he may be better as a power forward, despite being undersized for that position. Another thing to note is that Bennett just underwent surgery on his rotator cuff, although that shouldn’t be a problem.

Where he’ll be picked: Top 5. With all the question marks in this draft, Bennett’s immense potential and versatility will get him into the top five. The right coaching staff can either help him define a postion and maximize his abilities or take advantage of mismatches on both spots of the floor.
